Rapid Transformational Therapy®️ (RTT®) is a contemporary therapeutic approach, developed by world-renowned therapist Marisa Peer over thirty years, drawing upon powerful solution-focused techniques including hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychotherapy to offer fast results.

In a short period of time,

usually after just one to three sessions, RTT® can help you let go of negative

self-beliefs, often hidden deep in the subconscious, enabling you to live

your best life.

Rapid Transformational Therapy®️ (RTT®) embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnosis and classic hypnotherapy.

However, the RTT® method goes beyond traditional hypnotherapy as it helps you get to the root cause of an issue and identifies how, where and when unhelpful beliefs and behaviours were formed.

Powerful RTT® tools are used to help you understand limiting beliefs and reframe them.

Once you have this understanding, new neural pathways can be created and old limiting beliefs and behaviours be replaced with new empowering ones.

In the transformation stage of the RTT® process, I create a personalised hypnosis recording for you to listen to for a minimum of 21 days.

What is unique about RTT® is that it aims to deliver powerful change very quickly,

usually within 1 to 3 sessions.

STEP 2

INTERPRET

Together, we then explore how the meaning you attached to the events  from your past has led to the issue you experience today.

STEP 3

INTERRUPT

The next step is about interrupting and reframing any negative and limiting beliefs  you have acquired in the past.

STEP 4

INSTALL

The final stage of your RTT® session is to install new, beneficial beliefs based on your desired outcome. I create a bespoke hypnosis audio for you to listen to for 21 days.

  • When will I start to see changes?
Every person is different and experiences change from Rapid Transformational Therapy® in different ways. Overall, people experience change in three different ways: Immediate: This is when you feel a massive shift right after the session. Incremental: You notice consistent shifts every day, or over time. Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away, and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life. It is also important to note that, depending on the complexity of the issue, more than one RTT® session may be required to achieve the desired results.
  • What does an RTT® session feel like?
The first thing I would like to say is: Do not expect to feel hypnotized. Many people think that being in hypnosis feels significantly different from their ‘normal’ state of consciousness. This is definitely not the case. A light hypnotic state (which is absolutely fine – deeper does not mean better) will likely feel no different from relaxation. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not. Most people simply feel relaxed and completely at ease, and actually don’t realise they are in hypnosis until they come out of it. What’s important to know is that how you feel is not an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like – RTT® works.
  • How does RTT® work?
Unlike traditional hypnotherapy, RTT® does not rely solely on positive reinforcement but goes beyond this by identifying how, where and when unhelpful beliefs and behaviours were formed. It then utilizes the leading scientific principles of neuroplasticity to enable the creation of new neural pathways in the mind. As a certified hypnotherapist and RTT® Therapist, I am equipped with an array of tools and techniques that are essential in communicating with the subconscious mind, as well as accessing and addressing whatever blocks there may be. Breakthroughs are achieved by understanding the root cause rather than just addressing the symptoms of the presenting issue. This is why RTT® has such a significant impact; it addresses issues from the core so that the mind can be reprogrammed for success.
  • Is RTT® suitable for children and adolescents?
RTT® can be adapted for children and adolescents, addressing issues such as stress and anxiety, lack of confidence, sleep disturbances, and more. Practitioners may modify their approach based on the age and needs of the client, and use age-appropriate terminology and visual concepts. While I personally only work with adults, I will be happy to put you in touch with qualified RTT® practitioners I know who have had wonderful results supporting children and adolescents through RTT® and hypnotherapy.
  • Will I be asleep during the session?
Hypnosis is a natural state where you feel increasing levels of relaxation because it will be suggested to you to feel relaxed. Hypnosis is however not about being asleep. It is a sleep of the nervous system. In this state, the critical part that tells you that you are unable to do something shuts down and your mind is able to accept new positive suggestions. Rather than being asleep, you will be more aware during an RTT® session and are likely to see things more clearly.
  • How long does an RTT® session take?
The RTT session is about 2 hours. Please block out 2.5 hours in your agenda where you will have private, uninterrupted space without any rushing. The subsequent follow-up calls are usually one hour or less.
  • Is RTT® effective online?
You might wonder if online RTT® / hypnotherapy sessions are as effective as seeing you in person. I can reassure you that I have been fully trained in online hypnotherapy (the majority of my RTT® training itself was online) and that it works just as well as when you perform it in person. You can read some of the amazing results my clients have experienced here. My clients usually appreciate the fact that online sessions are easy to fit into their busy schedule and that they can participate in the sessions from the comfort of their home. The other advantage of online sessions is that we can work together even if you are not based in Singapore. And I am pretty excited about this!
  • Is RTT® suitable for everyone?
While RTT® has proved to be effective for various challenges, it is recommended to consult with a qualified RTT® Therapist to determine its suitability for your specific needs. During the RTT® process, there may be reason to review some unpleasant memories or experience some uncomfortable emotions. You should seek the advice of a qualified medical practitioner before commencing RTT® if you have any questions or concerns related to your mental or physical health, physical fitness, or medical conditions. I will be happy to assist you in this process as well. Please note that I will be unable to offer my professional services if you suffer from epilepsy or any form of psychosis as it could make your condition worse.
  • What is RTT®?
RTT® stands for Rapid Transformational Therapy® and is a therapeutic approach, developed by world renowned therapist Marisa Peer, that uses powerful, evidence-based techniques to provide you with the tools you need to make positive change. RTT® has been designed to achieve rapid and lasting change by combining the most beneficial elements of hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and psychotherapy. Its personalized approach helps you reframe any negative beliefs, values, habits and emotions that you may have carried with you since childhood, and that are affecting you in your adult life today. You may be totally unaware of the past issues affecting you because, oftentimes, they have been deeply buried in your subconscious. RTT® is giving you the potential to alter the way you think, so you can approach life in a more positive way and move forward. You can watch this video to understand what exactly RTT is: https://vimeo.com/661456939
  • What can I expect from an RTT® session?
As your RTT® Therapist, I will help you reach a deeply relaxed state to enable you to focus on past events. We will work together to uncover the meaning and interpretation you created at the time and the beliefs you formed as a result. You can then move on to reframe the way you look at the past from your adult perspective today. Once that has been achieved, I will help you to create new, positive beliefs. This will be reinforced with a personalized hypnosis audio for you to listen to for 21-30 days to establish beneficial change going forward.
  • How many RTT® sessions are typically required?
Every person is unique, and every situation is unique, but generally, you should only need between 1-3 sessions per issue.
  • When in hypnosis, will I lose control over what I say and do?
There is one simple answer to this question: No, not at all. There is a common misconception that hypnosis is all about being out of control. You might have seen or heard about people clucking like a chicken or barking like a dog. This is stage hypnosis, done entirely for the purpose of entertainment and with volunteers that go on stage with the expectation that something unusual can happen and therefore are in a state of consent. It is important to understand that any form of hypnosis does only work if you want to be hypnotised and if you want to take on the suggestions given to you. Hypnotherapy is different from stage hypnosis in the sense that its aim is not entertainment but your wellbeing. It is used to support you to make positive changes in your life. Hypnosis as such is a state of consciousness that involves focused attention and reduced peripheral awareness. You could compare hypnosis to the state you are in when you are really absorbed in a book. It’s a naturally occurring state that you have probably experienced a lot of times without even realising it. In hypnotherapy, this state is used to your advantage. You are fully in control when in hypnosis and do not have to take on any of the suggestions I give you if you do not want to. From the beginning to the end of your RTT® session, you have complete control over what you say and do. As your RTT® therapist, I will guide you and give you suggestions aligned with your desired outcome, but YOU are in full control at all times. If necessary, you can even pause or end the session and bring yourself out of the hypnotic state.
  • What if I can’t be hypnotised?
Hypnosis is a natural state that you already get into very frequently without even noticing it, for example, when you are daydreaming, being absorbed in a book etc. What hypnosis actually means is that you are in a relaxed state and that you have single-minded focus. With the right guidance, anybody can be effectively hypnotised into this relaxed state of focused attention and reduced peripheral awareness.
  • How is RTT® different from other therapies?
RTT® is known for its efficiency and achieves outstanding results far quicker than many other therapeutic modalities. RTT® embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy that are known to produce a transformative effect. However, the RTT® method goes beyond traditional hypnotherapy. It does not rely solely on positive reinforcement but gets to the root cause of an issue, creating an experience that gives you the most liberating understanding and transformative power to achieve long-lasting results. In Marisa Peer’s words “you cannot fix what you don’t understand”. RTT® helps you uncover the root cause of why you feel the way you do. Unlike other therapies which focus on the issue or challenge, RTT® helps you discover the origin of the beliefs and behaviours that have led to the issue you are experiencing. Using a unique set of tools and techniques, RTT® supports you in transforming your current issue and moving forward with a new set of more beneficial and positive beliefs.
